Cyberbird by Sarquindi Cyberbird by Sarquindi
"Life perpetuates itself through diversity, and this includes the ability to sacrifice itself when necessary. Cells repeat the process of degeneration and regeneration until one day they die, obliterating an entire set of memory and information. Only genes remain. Why continually repeat this cycle? Simply to survive by avoiding the weaknesses of an unchanging system."

I have had the idea for this floating around in my head for a long time now. I knew exactly how I wanted this to turn out, and I am very happy with it. This was inspired by Masamune Shirow's "ghost in the shell". If you haven't seen Ghost in the Shell (either the movies, series, or managas), then I recommend atleast watching the trailer for 2.0: [link] *WARNING* It does contain nudity.

The background for this took FOREVER to render! I recommend enlarging it to see all of the details.

The tech brushes are from redheadstock: [link]

**EDIT** I changed her colors. I thought the original was way too dark, so I lightened her up.

This is very nice. =D As a fan of the first Ghost in the Shell movie I recognize how inspiring it's been in this piece... I also love the quote!
